How to Set Up a Non-Custodial Wallet: Step-by-step guide.
1 Choose a Wallet App
Select a non-custodial wallet such as:
✅ MetaMask (Ethereum-based)
✅ Trust Wallet (multi-chain)
✅ Rabby Wallet (Ethereum/Web3)
✅ Unisat or OKX Wallet (for Bitcoin Ordinals)
2 Download the Wallet
Visit the official website or app store. Double-check for authenticity to avoid fake apps.
3 Create a New Wallet
Open the app and choose "Create New Wallet." Set a strong, unique password.
4 Secure Your Recovery Phrase
Write down the 12- or 24-word recovery phrase. Store it offline in a secure place. Do not screenshot or store it in cloud storage.
5 Access Your Wallet Address
Once setup is complete, you’ll receive a public address. This is where you can receive crypto.
6 Fund Your Wallet
Buy crypto on a centralized exchange. Withdraw to your wallet using the correct blockchain network.
7 Start Using Your Wallet
You can now store, send, or interact with dApps.
