What is On - Chain?
On-Chain, refers to blockchain transactions that exist on and have been verified to the blockchain by miners or validators.
How On-Chain Transactions Work?
- On-chain transactions operate within the main blockchain network.
- When a user initiates an on-chain transaction, the details are broadcast to the network, where they undergo a process of validation and inclusion in a block. This is achieved through consensus mechanisms, such as Proof of Work (PoW) or Proof of Stake (PoS), ensuring that the transaction is securely recorded on the blockchain.
- Once the transaction is validated and added to a block, it becomes a permanent part of the distributed ledger, providing transparency and immutability.
