Today I'll show you:
• Which Fib levels to watch
• How to pull them
• What the golden pocket is
• Things to avoid
Fibonacci levels are extremely powerful, let's jump right into the magic ↡
🔹 Intro
These magic numbers are drawn from a number sequence discovered by the Italian mathematician "Leonardo of Pisa" also known as, who would've guessed, Fibonacci!
They're found in Nature, Biology, Art, Music..
But I don't want to bore you, we are here to trade 👇
🔹 Why Should You Even Care About them
The "Fibonacci Retracement Tool" is incredible powerful.
It helps you to:
• Identify S/R levels
• Show you the strength of the move
• Set TP targets
• Remove emotions and buy the pullbacks
Heard enough? Let's pull some Fibs
🔹 How to pull them
Traditionally fibs are pulled like this:
• Uptrend: Swing Low to Swing High
• Downtrend: Swing High to Swing Low
Always in the direction of the trend from left to right.
Hint: The most obvious ones are more respected but also get front run more often.
🔹 Levels To Watch
Here's a cheat sheet for you, to make life easier.
Didn't add the .886 as it's mostly used for harmonic patterns.
I don't use it.
You want to play around and backtest the levels with your setups.
If you're unsure about anything, jump into comments.
🔹 Pullback In A Uptrend
In a strong uptrend you'll see price bounce hard from the .382 pocket.
If thats lost, chances are astonishing high that it pulls into the golden pocket and bounces from there.
Lose the gold and only .786 is left, which mostly is a weak zone of support.
🔹 Retracement In A Downtrend.
When you see price getting rejected at the .236 after a strong downwards move, that asset is likely going for new lows.
Wait for a S/R flip of the .236 after a golden pocket retracement before you run longs.
Any bearish retests are worth a short.
🔹 Golden Pocket
What is that Malepo guy rambling about this pocket sh*t?
• The golden pocket is the space between the .618 and .66 level.
• Its a great area to ladder into your entries
You'll be surprised how often those areas get hit.
I challenge you to backtest it.
🔹 No Go's
Okay guys please never:
• Rely solely on fibs for S/R levels (Check MS)
• Place your stops straight at/below fibs (MM will hunt it)
• Use them as a standalone tool or indicator
Fibs are massive but nothing is a 100% accurate.
