🔹Intro

Markets work in fractals.

So while it trends on one TF, it probably ranges in the other.

Nevertheless you can generally say it:

• Ranges 70-80%

• Trends 30-20%

Characteristics?👇

🔹 Range Characteristics

A range appears on all TFs and is basically:

• A consolidation pattern

• following a trending move

• Necessary for accumulation

It's made of:

Range high = Premium Zone

Mid Rang = Equilibrium

Range Low = Discount Zone

Let's find some ranges!

🔹 Identifying Ranges

You mark out the local "Highs & Lows" after a trending move.

↠ Use key and obvious pivot points

• The more obvious, the better

• Be as objective as possible while leaving enough room for subjectivity

Nothing is perfect and that's ok!

🔹 Hack

Use the fib tool, go to settings, select:

• 1

• 0.5

• 0

Pull it from low to high

This will give you the "Mid Range" = Equilibrium

You can also add 0.75 and 0.25 to give you quarterly range points.

These get respected often!

🔹 Trading Ranges

You obviously want to:

• Sell the Premium Zone

• Buy the Discount Zone

I like to frontrun the RH and RL.

I'd also highly suggest to watch and wait for:

• Momentum

• Rejections / Deviations

If you play ranges conservative you can master them in no time.
