How It Works:
Every voter is given a budget of credits or tokens.
They can cast multiple votes on any option or issue.
But the cost of each additional vote increases quadratically.
Formula:
If you cast n votes for an option, it costs you nΒ² credits.
β
Benefits:
Captures preference intensity β People who care more can spend more to show it.
Reduces tyranny of the majority β Prevents majority voters from drowning out passionate minorities.
Balances influence β Richer or more powerful voices donβt dominate as easily if everyone has the same credits.
